Derma is the vision of Linda Foley. Originally
from Boston and the youngest of 10 children, Linda has
been in Nevada for over 3 years now. Health and nutrition
have been her passion from early on. Having worked in
hospitals for over 10 years, Linda has always had a
strong desire to become a natural health practitioner.
Her
concerns of the overuse of prescription medicines and
obesity in children and adults, Linda is confident that
nearly all health issues may be resolved through proper
nutrition and exercise, along with improved spiritual
and emotional health.
In
her search to find a procedure that truly and effectively
reshapes bodies, while detoxifying them of impurities
and ultimately bringing them back to a healthful state,
inside and out, Linda discovered the Dermosonic Method.
Without harming the skin’s connective tissue or
causing any pain, Dermosonic reshapes the body while
eliminating the toxins that cannot be reached through
diet and exercise. Unlike other cellulite treatments,
Dermosonic is the logical choice for Linda.
Linda
studied skin care at Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts
and Science in Nevada, graduated valedictorian for her
class and is a licensed aesthetician. Additionally,
she trained with Sybaritic, the US distributor for the
Dermosonic, and is a certified Dermosonic technician.
Linda resides in Greeen Valley with her 10-year-old
son, Nicholas.

Linda’s
top 5 health tips:
1) Drink lots of water! The normal
body water percentage is 50-65% for men and 45-60% for
women. In order to function at peak performance your
body should be replenished throughout the day, even
more so if you are very active, exercise frequently
or work outside.
2) Eating a highly alkaline diet,
which includes lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and
my favorite, almonds, can be helpful. Lemon is very
alkaline, add it to your water and let it do its thing.
A diet of 75% alkaline foods and 25% acidic is recommended
for optimal physical well-being, though each individual
is different. Note: Consult your health practitioner
for assistance with any diet questions or changes, especially
if you are taking any type of prescription medicine.
3) Avoid caffeine as much as possible.
Looking for a way to start the day that will give you
the energy you need? Try this: Have a tall glass of
water as soon as you wake up, at least 8 oz. Follow
that (maybe after your shower) by a nice big apple and
a handful of almonds. Before you walk out the door,
have some more water. Try this for a week and let me
know how you feel. Fact: A glass of water gives you
more energy than a cup of coffee. Oh sure, you have
a great rush with a cup of coffee, but it is followed
by a crash (unless followed by another cup). The caffeine
acts as a diuretic, which of course leads to dehydration,
which can lead to a tired, lethargic body and sluggish
mind.
4. An apple a day keeps the doctor
away, really. Try it for a week and see how you feel.
And of course if you want more energy (see #3) this
can do the trick.
5. Remineralize. What kind of
water are you drinking? Most of us drink some form of
purified or bottled water. Growing up, many of us drank
tap water which supplied us with a good amount of minerals
difficult to find in our diets today. Do your kids have
more cavities than you? It may have to do with the fact
that we grew up with fluoride in the water but again,
due to purification, they are missing out on a lot.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting in any
way that we should drink tap water (just the thought
makes me queasy) but we do need to replace the minerals
that we simply are not getting in our water or food
supply. I personally use and recommend TJClark Colloidal
Minerals. They are in a liquid form and are very easy
to assimilate into your body.
